Unfortunately, the sun, which makes the oak, birch and maple leaves look so dramatically bright\u00a0 in blazing reds, yellows and oranges, has been pretty much a no-show. But even though the persistent cover of clouds and showers have been a bit of a disappointment for travelers, these mountains (hills, really) now have a taken on a different kind of splendor; a muted beauty of soft pastels.. pink, lavender and yellows which seem equally satisfying.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1534\" style=\"width: 598px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1534\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1534\" title=\"New England New Hampshire 001\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.keloland.com\/lund\/files\/2011\/10\/New-England-New-Hampshire-001.jpg\" alt=\"We stopped for a group photo somewhere in N.H.
