We\u2019re leaving on another \u201cHoliday Vacations\u201d adventure which, I\u2019ll bet, has many of you \u201cgreen\u201d with envy. We\u2019ll be spending 10 hours in airports and another 10 hours on airplanes before arriving in Dublin, Ireland, but it\u2019s a small price for the chance to actually experience in person those 40 shades of green we hear so much about on the Emerald Isle.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2236\" style=\"width: 479px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2236\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2236\" title=\"ireland\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.keloland.com\/lund\/files\/2012\/09\/ireland.jpg\" alt=\"Cliffs of Moher\" width=\"469\" height=\"264\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-2236\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cliffs of Moher<\/p><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2237\" title=\"ireland map\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.keloland.com\/lund\/files\/2012\/09\/ireland-map.JPG\" alt=\"ireland map\" width=\"150\" height=\"164\" \/>We\u2019ll be going around in circles for the next week..actually making the beautiful \u201cCircle Tour\u201d of Ireland from Dublin, Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Limerick, Killarney, Blarney, Kilkenny and back to Dublin.<\/p>\n<p>I wonder if Linda, who is half Irish, will feel the kinship with her motherland as much as I did when we visited Norway several years ago. I hope so.\u00a0 I suppose it\u2019s possible for me to feel that sense of homecoming too since MY ancestors, the Vikings, have such a long history of invading and settling Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>We hope to do all the touristy things while there from touring castles and kissing Blarney Stones to drinking Guinness, eating Mulligan stew and singing Irish pub songs in REAL Irish pubs. \u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2238\" style=\"width: 380px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2238\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2238\" title=\"ireland pub\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.keloland.com\/lund\/files\/2012\/09\/ireland-pub.jpg\" alt=\"Redheads fascinate me.
